Applied AI Engineer
Take models out of papers and into systems. Retrieval, agents, evals, infra. We treat agents like databases — versioned, observable, and contracted.

- Design retrieval and agentic pipelines for production
- Run rigorous evals; ship only what holds up
- Partner with research and engineering equally
Looking for
- 5+ years shipping ML / AI in production
- Strong systems instincts, not just model instincts

Principal Product Designer
Own end-to-end design across engagements — identity, product surfaces, motion. Treat design systems as software.

- Lead design across two simultaneous engagements
- Build and maintain a real, versioned design system
- Pair tightly with engineering — we work as one studio

- A portfolio that ages well, not loudly
- Comfort writing copy as well as designing surfaces
Infrastructure Engineer
Make boring infrastructure boring. Reliability, performance, security, cost. Your job is to make the rest of the team look fast.
You will
- Operate multi-region production stacks
- Build the observability spine our engagements run on
- Lead disaster recovery and security hardening
Looking for
- 7+ years in production SRE / DevOps / platform
- Have run a 3am incident gracefully
- Read post-mortems for fun
Automation Engineer
Replace work that should not be done by humans. Workflow automation, integrations, agentic pipelines, internal tools.
You will
- Audit and automate operational workflows for clients
- Design integration layers across SaaS and bespoke systems
- Build durable internal tools — not glue scripts
Looking for
- 5+ years writing production automation
- Comfort across at least two language ecosystems
- An eye for processes that don't deserve to exist
Research Fellow
A funded year to investigate one focused problem in applied AI alongside our research lead. Outputs: a working prototype, a paper, or both.
You will
- Define and lead one research thread end-to-end
- Publish or open-source a substantive output
- Participate in client engagements one day a week
Looking for
- PhD candidate or recent graduate in CS / ML / HCI
- Demonstrated ability to ship, not just publish
- Genuine curiosity about real systems
Studio Operations Lead
Run the studio quietly. Engagement intake, contracts, scheduling, finance, hiring. You are the calm in the room.
You will
- Own engagement intake and lifecycle
- Partner with leads on hiring and onboarding
- Keep the books, contracts, and people unblocked
Looking for
- 8+ years running operations in services or product orgs
- Comfort writing as much as spreadsheeting
